Horny and blue. That describes Vektal in more ways than one. While he and his mate Georgie don’t understand a word the other says, he’s determined to keep this little pale creature that makes him burn with desire. Georgie is a survivor in more ways than one. While she starts out just rolling along with Vektal because the situation really leaves her with no choice it’s not long before the huge blue alien with horns on his head and skin like armor works his way into her heart.
This read started out pretty horrifying what with the abusive grey aliens stealing human women for a purpose only they know. And it can’t be good. When Georgie and her fellow captives find themselves stranded on an overtly hostile planet she’s the one who braves the unknown.
Apparently there are more ways to communicate than the usual and chemistry is universal. I was left wondering how the two would ever reconcile their individual purposes but the author took care of that in a creative way that answered a lot of questions for me. This story was engrossing without the hot alien sex, but that just made it better. I hope the author focuses stories on the other survivors and their potential mates.
You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet.
And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me...
