Garden of Thorns

"Garden of Thorns" is about Rose, a girl who spent seven years in the Garden, which is a burlesque group made up of slave girls. When she finally escapes, she brings along a hostage. A hostage that is the former heir to the throne, and now leading a rebellion against the current heir, which makes him a wanted man.

I have to say that I had a lot of fun reading this. It was amazing! It's hard to find a fantasy that has unique elements nowadays, but this did! The whole “Garden” aspect was something I've never come across before in a YA book.

Rose was an excellent main character. She was relatable and likable. And her personality was very intriguing. I found myself easily liking the secondary characters as well.

The story itself was very fast-paced and engaging. It's filled with lots of exciting action and well-crafted scenes. The only bad thing I could think of was that I felt like Rose became sort of whiny toward the end.

Overall, this was a great, solid fantasy. The characters were delightful and compelling. The world building had many unique elements that I loved, and I liked that everything was so action-packed. This book truly took me on an emotional, thrilling ride. I would recommend this to anyone who loves YA Fantasy.
